He founded the Libertarian Party. I am baffled as to why he is running in our district (8). Unless of course, he lives here. In that case I’m just surprised that he lives here. Sorry for the recent onslaught of political posts. That’s what blogs are useful for, though.

O’Reilly on Oprah
Forget Kyl vs. Pederson. Forget Graf vs. Giffords. Oprah asked Bill O’Reilly on to her own “No Spin Zone” for a little “Town Hall” discussion. Yeah! I’m actually watching as I’m writing this, so we’ll wait and see who “wins.” It’s getting a little tense. I love a good fight! Update: To make things clear,… Continue reading O’Reilly on Oprah
How to Hack the Vote
“In all this time, I’ve yet to find a good way to convey to the non-technical public how well and truly screwed up we presently are, six years after the Florida recount. So now it’s time to hit the panic button: In this article, I’m going to show you how to steal an election.” from… Continue reading How to Hack the Vote
Digg Detection and New Theme Coming
I’ve already implemented Digg detection on blog posts. If you’ve been living under the anti-Internet rock, you may not be aware of Digg. Digg is a social news/bookmarking site, where users submit articles, blogposts and sometimes random pages. Then all the other users “digg” or “bury” that article. Somehow, using a bit of social Web… Continue reading Digg Detection and New Theme Coming
The Political Compass
I found a site that has a test you can take which will measure where you are on the political compass. The idea is that the traditional left/right political scale only accurately measures economics, so they’ve made created a compass that has social politics on an up-down scale. The site is internationally acclaimed. It’s important… Continue reading The Political Compass
It Can’t Happen Here
“When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.” – Sinclair Lewis Whilst perusing a web forum, I found this interesting quote. It sounded very interesting, so I went straight to the people who know about all subjects – Wikipedia – and did some reading on Mr. Lewis.… Continue reading It Can’t Happen Here
Rest and Relaxation
Jenny chillin’ Jenny and I have decided that our town-hopping Northern Arizona trip is a great opportunity to photoblog. Here’s the link to the Flickr stream. We didn’t take very many photos tonight (Friday), but we’re planning on seeing all sorts of interesting things (vortexes, mansions, canyons, ruins, etc.) tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. More from… Continue reading Rest and Relaxation
Lifehacking: Organizing Your Life
I recently stumbled upon several blogs that are devoted to a single topic – organizing your life. The buzzword for this in the blogosphere is “lifehacking.” It originated as a programmers’ term, but has recently broadened its scope to include all sorts of productivity areas. Technology is supposed to make our lives more productive. But… Continue reading Lifehacking: Organizing Your Life

We interrupt this broadcast to bring you a special information update – Google just BOUGHT OUT YouTube for $1.65 billion. This is Google’s largest acquisition, and one of the largest Web 2.0 acquistions to date. Buy your Google stock now if you hadn’t already!! Google Reader
I know I’ve already mentioned this in a few emails to certain people, but the word really needs to get out – the new Google Reader is awesome! I’ve been using Bloglines since 2004, patiently waiting for Google to release an RSS feed aggregator. When they finally did, the result was horrid. The first incarnation… Continue reading Google Reader
